Motivated K-12 Educators currently teaching in a classroom setting working with students
A fellowship to connect, empower, and leverage resources to deepen student thinking around design and curricular subject areas. Educators will connect and learn together, to design a project for their school/community using design thinking framework.
We will meet 4 times throughout the course of the 2020-2021 school year, twice virtually and twice face to face evening meetings at a local business.
Northern Lower Michigan -- initially in the Traverse City area, to be scaled out throughout the region moving forward in collaboration with WMISD, Manistee ESD, COOR ISD, Char-Em ISD, COP ESD, Iosco RESA, and AMA ESD
Design thinking is a powerful framework to support social emotional learning and consider others perspectives with solving problems. Design thinking is the human centered design.
